The Dynamo attacking midfielder won the Top Five prize, which is annually awarded by the Viktor Gorlov Children's Football League.

According to the results of voting among specialists, 18-year-old Zakharyan earned 445 points. Ufa centre-forward Gamid Agalarov took the second place (312) and Dynamo striker Konstantin Tyukavin was the third (238).

In 2021, Arsen scored 7 goals and made 11 assists in 27 RPL appearances.

Zakharyan became the third Dynamo football player to win this prestigious prize: Kirill Kombarov (in 2007) and Alexander Kokorin (in 2011) previously received the award.
