Denis Makarov: The international break helped me adapt faster to the team

# Denis Makarov

Dynamo winger Denis Makarov told about his debut goal at the club and summed up the encounter against Nizhny Novgorod.

— Today, many fans were waiting for an easy win. What went wrong for the team?

— There are no easy wins now, because everyone knows how to play football. We deservedly lost today. We couldn't do anything in the second half. We have to analyze the match and prepare for the next fixture.

— You scored your first goal earlier but the referee flagged for offside.

— I didn't know that I was in the offside position. I just ran to rebound the ball and only then saw that the linesman was flagging for offside.

— But soon you still scored the debut goal for Dynamo by your trademark left-footed shot. What did you feel at that moment?

— It was very nice. I am thankful to the coaching staff and the guys who helped me adapt. The international break helped me a lot. We will continue to work in order to change the situation in the next match.

— How to come to the encounters against PFC Sochi and Dynamo Stavropol after such a painful defeat?

— We need to quickly forget it and prepare for the next games in a good mood. Everything happens in football: sometimes you beat the leaders, and then you lose to the teams from the bottom of the table. So you just need to keep moving in a good mood.
