Denis Makarov: It's amazing to make my debut in Moscow derby, I experienced strong emotions

— You played the debut game at the VTB Arena and immediately against CSKA. What are your impressions?

— I experienced strong emotions. It's amazing to make my debut in the Moscow derby against a good team. The fans' support was fine, they urged us forward. It was very cool to play in such an atmosphere.

— Your teams always win when meeting CSKA. Are the Army side your favorite opponent?

— I could say so. How many times I played against them, there were so many wins.

— You had only a few training sessions at Dynamo. What do you think of mutual understanding with the teammates? How did you feel on the pitch?

— The interactions went well. I watched Dynamo play. I understood how to play myself. The coach prompted me, held a theory for me. Now I need to train more to improve mutual understanding with teammates and help the team in next games.

— In fact, you made an assist in the first match for Dynamo. Did your crazy strike work?

— This is the position from where I often hit and will continue to hit. The goalkeeper could save the ball, and Foma succeeded on rebound. We deserved this goal.

— After your appearance, Zakharyan left from the right wing. Do you want to continue playing on the right wing or you are ready to play on the opposite wing?

— My favourite position is on the right. I've been playing there all my life. I think that Zakharyan will go to the left wing (laughs).

— It's difficult to feel the atmosphere in the stands during times of restrictions, but how did you like the support of Dynamo fans?

— There was a good atmosphere at the nice stadium. The fans supported us throughout the game, we heard them perfectly. I want to thank them for this match. Their support was very important to us.
