The midfielder of the Russian national team, Daniil Fomin, signed a new employment agreement with Dynamo Moscow for five years until summer 2029. The previous agreement was valid until summer 2025
Fomin joined the blue-and-white team from Ufa in August 2020. Since then, the pupil of Krasnodar has played 144 matches for Dynamo, scoring 27 goals and providing 20 assists.
During this period, Daniil twice became a bronze medalist of the Russian championship (2021/22, 2023/24).
— I am very happy to extend my contract with Dynamo. This is an excellent club. It's a great honor for me to play for this team. I believe that it is possible to progress here. The club itself and the fans deserve Dynamo to win trophies. In the first five years, we didn't manage to take the trophy, so we will try to do it in the second five-year period. This is the main goal for this term. Everything suits me at Dynamo, so I did not think about other options.
In the past season, in 34 matches of the Russian Premier League and the country's Cup, Fomin scored three times and assisted his teammates seven times
