At the group round stage the White-Blues defeated Dynamo Stavropol (6:0) and Orenburg (3:0). In the round of 16 fixture Dynamo recorded a win over Nizhny Novgorod (3:0) and in quarterfinal the Moscow side beat Baltika Kaliningrad (1:1, 5:4 on penalties).
