Fabian Balbuena: «We felt our fans’ support, so this win is for them»

— You made your debut for Dynamo. What are your impressions of the first official game with the team?

— It was good. I felt very good on the pitch. My teammates talked to me every time – before the game, during the game as well. It was a good performance for everyone. We are very happy for the first win and we are looking forward now.

— You hit by the head very well and became a co-author of the second goal. How did you choose the position?

— This was a set piece which we trained every day. Everyone knows his position to go on the pitch. It was a very good ball from Seba and we were lucky to score in that situation.

— Dynamo have not won in Rostov-on-Don for seven years, since 2014, so this win is very important for the team.

— Every win is important, when you have a fierce away match, especially. We are very happy to win this game. And now we are looking forward for next matches.

— The match was held without fans, and you didn’t have a chance to feel their support. But you saw the supporters at the hotel?

— Yes, there was a good atmosphere. We know that the fans are always behind us. This win is for them as well.

— Next game is an away game and you still haven’t played at the VTB Arena. Is it hard to start the season with two away matches in a row?

— This is normal. It’s the situation that we have to pass. We are looking forward game by game. Yes, we won the first game. Now we try to keep this moment, work hard and look for the next games, especially for the match at home.
