The first qualifying round match of the Under-19 European Championship was held in Nafpaktos and ended in a 1:0 win for Russia.
Dynamo centre-forward Yaroslav Gladyshev came off the bench in the second half and scored the game-winning goal on the 70th minute.
In the next match, Russia will face Germany on Saturday.
