Goals by Sulakvelidze and Smolov bring Dynamo victory over Sochi

# VTB Training Camp

The second friendly game at the third VTB training camp ended in a 2:1 win in Dynamo's favor.

All Dynamo footballers, who missed morning's friendly encounter, entered the starting eleven in the match against RPL side Sochi. Roman Yevgenyev, Daniil Lesovoy and Konstantin Tyukavin were the exception. They got some rest due to club's medical staff decision.

From the very beginning Dynamo didn't put things off having created a nice chance in the 1st minute. Skopintsev tested Denis Adamov with a long-range shot. Sebastian Szymanski came to rebound, but the defenders were attentive. Sochi responded by Nikita Burmistrov's effort that was turned away by Leshchuk.

In the 11th minute the hosts organized a nice handball attack with a lot of precise passes before Georgy Sulakvelidze's clinical finish. Georgy scored his debut goal for the first team.

After the goal conceded Sochi players began to play faster. However, the main threat came from set-pieces. Rodrigão and Zaika were close to score an equaliser from two potentially dangerous corner kicks. After the break, Dynamo centre-back Denis Osokin was replaced by Saba Sazonov who had to play with a special carbonic mask protecting his face from unexpected contacts.

At the beginning of the second half the White-Blues doubled their lead. Smolov capitalized on Zaika's ball loss, ran one-on-one with the goalkeeper and scored his fourth goal at winter VTB training camps.

The visitors raised their head within last ten minutes when they substituted almost the entire starting lineup. Firstly, Yegor Prutsev benefited from Moro's short ball and fired into the near top corner. The pushy youngster could even equalize, when Igor Leshchuk gave him a generous present. However, Sochi's right winger sent the ball accurately into his teammate. In added time, Leshchuk made two brilliant saves stopping Noboa and Prutsev in their zeal to pull out a draw.

In the next friendly game the White-Blues will face Latvian side RFS Riga on February 13. The fixture will kick-off at 5 p.m and will be broadcasted live on Dynamo TV.
