Sandro Schwarz: It was important to make our fans’ day

# Sandro Schwarz

Dynamo Head Coach answered journalists' questions after the match against Akhmat (2:0).

— I am happy that our team won today. We dominated in the first half, but we lacked the final touch by finishing. We played a little calmer in the second one and managed to score two goals. At the same time we were leaving free zones for the opponent.

I would like to note that we kept the third consecutive clean sheet and converted our chances. Today we celebrated the 99th anniversary of the club, and it was important to make our fans’ day. I think our victory is absolutely deserved.

— The team scored a late goal, but you didn't make any changes before it. Did you believe in the starting line-up?

— During the first half we showed good football and we could take the lead. We have absolute confidence in the players who came out as starters. They have excellent skills. I can say the same about the footballers who remained on the bench. The goal scored by the substitute Tyukavin proved it.

— You substituted Sebastian Szymanski by 1:0. What is the reason for this?

— Sebastian is a very important player for us. He does a lot of work. We decided to substitute him by moving Arsen Zakharyan to the midfield and releasing Daniil Lesovoy to his position. Daniil had a great week-long training cycle.

— What was the key point for you when choosing a centre-forward for the starting lineup?

— Today we decided that Fedor Smolov would start. But I have to note other strikers that we have in our roster – Tyukavin, Grulev, N'Jie and Gladyshev.
