Dynamo head coach commented on the decision of the Russian national team coaching staff to call up Arsen Zakharyan, Denis Makarov, Konstantin Tyukavin and Daniil Fomin to the September qualifying matches.
— I think that all of them deserved this call by their bright performance at the beginning of the new season. They talk a lot about Zakharyan — he really shows great football for his age, like Kostya Tyukavin. Their situations are similar, and I am happy for them. Daniil Fomin is an important player for the Dynamo game system, and now he is also one of the best scorers of the Premier League. Denis Makarov has been with us not so long ago, but we understood that we got a potential national team player. He really is one of the best in his position in Russian football.
Anton Shunin was not called up to the national team.

I do it also for the Russian national team. I am glad that four of our players received calls-up. And I want to support Anton. All footballers have difficult situations throughout their careers.
