Sandro Schwarz: «It was important to play solid in defense against AEL»

— It wasn’t easy to enter this game in the first half. We played the previous match two days ago, and the guys felt tired. In the second half, we were better and scored the winning goal. It was important for us to play solid in defense, and today we managed to do it — we kept the clean sheet again.

— Tomorrow the team will play the second match in two days. Did you take this fact into consideration when choosing the starting line-up?

— Yes, we thought about it. The guys are overloaded, and we needed to distribute playing time equally. Those footballers who played less today will spend 60 minutes on the pitch tomorrow and vice versa.

— Daniil Lesovoy scored the winning goal in this match. How would you comment on it?

— We organized a very good attack. We played very well in the penalty box, where there were quite a lot of AEL players. I want to mention Tyukavin, who made a good assist to Lesovoy.

— Alexander Kutitsky plays the most at this training camp. Do you consider him only as a defensive midfielder or you keep in mind that he also can play as a full-back?

— We are satisfied with the way Kutitsky plays as a defensive midfielder at this training camp. We know that he can perform in other positions, and we keep these options in mind.
