On Wednesday, the coaching staff of the national team announced the final list of players who will take part in the European Championship this summer. It consists of 26 footballers.

Goalkeepers: Anton Shunin (Dynamo), Yuri Dyupin (Rubin), Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar).

Defenders: Georgy Dzhikiya (Spartak), Igor Diveyev, Mario Fernandez (both from CSKA), Yuri Zhirkov, Vyacheslav Karavayev (both from Zenit), Fyodor Kudryashov (Antalyaspor, Turkey), Andrey Semyonov (Akhmat).

Midfielders: Daniil Fomin (Dynamo), Dmitry Barinov, Rifat Zhemaletdinov (both from Lokomotiv), Maxim Mukhin (CSKA), Alexander Golovin (Monaco, France), Roman Zobnin (Spartak), Alexey Ionov (Krasnodar), Daler Kuzyayev, Andrey Mostovoy, Magomed Ozdoyev (all from Zenit), Denis Makarov (Rubin), Alexey Miranchuk (Atalanta, Italy), Denis Cheryshev (Valencia, Spain).

Forwards: Artyom Dzyuba (Zenit), Anton Zabolotny (CSKA), Alexander Sobolev (Spartak).

At the group stage of the European Championship, the Russians will play against Belgium (June 12th, St. Petersburg), Finland (June 16th, St. Petersburg) and Denmark (June 21st, Copenhagen).
