Fabian Balbuena's amazing journey from Peru to Krasnodar

# Fabian Balbuena

Dynamo centre-back Fabián Balbuena was named Man of the Sunday's match against Krasnodar (1:0). This award is valuable and even surprising because the Paraguayan international had to make an incredible journey lasting 3 days in order to take part in this fixture.

Back on March 30, early in the morning, Fabián played 90 minutes in an away World Cup qualifier against Peru. After then, his long journey began, which included 5 flights and relocation.

At first, he had a 4-hour flight from Lima to the capital of Paraguay, Asunción. Now we are showing you a detailed description of Fabián's route (Moscow time is indicated everywhere):

March 31st

01:15 – 03:15 — Asunción – Sao Paulo flight

07:25 – 21:55 — Sao Paulo – Dubai flight

April 1st

09:05 – 14:20 — Dubai – Moscow flight

The flight from Dubai was delayed, so our footballer had to urgently change his ticket and wait for the night plane to Sochi.

April 2nd

00:35 – 04:50 — Moscow – Sochi flight

Finally, the last point of the trip included a 6-hour minivan ride from Sochi to Krasnodar, where Fabián arrived only a day before the kick-off time of the match against Krasnodar.

But all this adventures did not prevent him from playing great in defense, providing the clean sheet. Balbuena got the Man of the match award deservedly. Immediately after the encounter, Fabián shared his emotions from a hard trip and a nice victory, modestly noting the whole team.
