Alexei Prudnikov

The main goalkeeper of the white-blues of the 1980s, he was the permanent captain of the team for three years and even led Dynamo in this role to the match against Barcelona in the UEFA Cup.

His style was distinguished by reliability and restraint, rather than playing for the crowd with spectacular jumps, which were already becoming fashionable in those years. He behaved like the owner of the penalty area and often covered the central defenders high up.

After playing for Dynamo, he played in many clubs, and finished his career in the South Korean championship, where he began his career as a goalkeeper coach. In recent years, he has managed to work in this role in different countries and with the Russian youth team.
