Anton Shunin: It's a real pleasure to play in front of our fans

— You played the 300th match for Dynamo. What does this number mean for you?

— It means a lot. I am very happy to be a part of the club where I grew up, which brought me up and gave me a path into sports life. It doesn't always go well, but I still leave a huge amount of energy in training and in games. It is a real pleasure to play at this legendary stadium in front of our fans, who always lead us forward. I am happy that I have been at Dynamo for so long.

— Do you remember your debut match 14 years ago?

— Of course, I will keep memories from this match for the rest of my life. We played against Khimki, and won by 2:1. It's a pity that we didn't manage to win today. Everyone was upset by the final score, because we had the chances to finish the opponent. But we continue to move forward, we show a good play. We leave a lot of energy on the pitch, and it brings the result.

— The last two encounters against Lokomotiv ended in a draw. Why is this opponent so difficult for us?

— First of all, it's a derby. Secondly, Lokomotiv are struggling for the championship. They are a very strong team, which have a lot of skilled players. Therefore, it is not always possible to win. But we haven't lost four games to Lokomotiv and we score quite a lot of goals, so everything is fine.

— Did the possible first spot in the table put pressure on the team?

— I think that there is no need to look at the table now — we will do it at the end of the season. Only six rounds have been played, the whole season is still ahead. We need to gradually move from game to game, work on mistakes and try to win every match.

— You went to the stands after the match. What were you talking about?

— I thanked our fans for standing behind us. I feel a great pride in defending the goal of this great club. I always leave all my energy in training and in matches to make our fans happy.

— What do you feel when you hear the chant: «Anton Shunin is a whole epoch»?

— I am proud to play for our club. And I am very grateful to our fans who created this chant. It will remain in my heart forever.
