Dynamo attacking midfielder Arsen Zakharyan answered journalists’ questions after the game with Ural (2:1) and told about his failed transfer to Chelsea.

— The main event of this week – your transfer to Chelsea did not happen. How did you go through it?

— I have a contract with Dynamo, so I went well through this situation. I have to play and establish myself. And everything will be fine!

— After all, when such a transfer doesn’t happen, it's not easy to accept it.

— I understand. I was sad a little, but quickly got myself together.

— Did the experienced players calm you down?

— The guys teased me more (smiles). There were usual jokes in the dressing room, nothing special.

— Dynamo fans are worried that you can lose motivation after the disruption of your transfer to Chelsea. Can you guarantee that you will continue giving everything in games?

— I'm getting in shape now because I missed part of the preseason. On the contrary, I will try to establish myself even more.

— What was your reaction when you found out that the attention from Chelsea was an absolutely real interest from a big club?

— I knew that Chelsea had been interested in me since the winter. Of course, it's nice that such advances are given to me, such clubs are following me. It is clear that many aspects in my play are still not perfect. I understand it and accept criticism in my address. There is only one option here – to continue training, playing and improving my skills.

— Are there any fears of becoming the second Fedor Chalov, who felt down abruptly after his failed transfer to Crystal Palace?

— I don't know what his situation was, how he reacted to it. I try to give everything to my parent club and help them to climb as high as possible.

— Have you talked to Chelsea representatives?

— Yes, I did.

— There were rumours that you had already agreed a contract with the London side.

— There was an offer from their part. It was difficult to arrange a transfer now.

— Have you agreed to this transfer?

— How can I refuse such an offer? Of course, I said yes.

— They said a lot that you were ready to change your citizenship when moving to Chelsea. Is it true?

— I'm not going to change my citizenship.

— Are you confident in your skills? Are you ready to play in the English Premier League right away?

— Of course, the English Premier League is much more difficult than our championship. But everything is possible, why not? Maybe I would have started playing there at sight, maybe I would have gone on loan. It doesn't matter because I would like to play there.

— What was the most unexpected reaction that you faced in this story?

— Fabrizio Romano wrote: «When are you coming?» He was also aware of the Chelsea offer and the negotiations between two clubs.

— What did you answer to him?

— I wrote in my crooked English: «I don't know yet, I'm waiting for information» (laughs).

— Do you understand that you need to study English intensively?

— In fact I already speak English at a decent level (smiles). But now I need to study it every day.
