Arthur Gomes, the winger of the Brazilian Cruzeiro, signed a five-year contract with the blue-whites — until summer 2029
Arthur played for Poliesportivo, Uberlândia and São Paulo at the youth level, but he started his professional career in the famous Santos. After two loans to Brazilian teams Chapecoense and Atlético Goianiense, Gomes went to Portugal, signing a deal with Estoril Praia.
After a successful season, the midfielder caught the attention of Sporting Lisbon scouts. Arthur spent only one year with the Lions before returning to Brazil in the summer of 2023, where he became a Cruzeiro player. In all tournaments, Gomes played 59 matches for the blues, scoring 8 goals and making 5 assists.
Arthur has experience playing for the Brazil U-17 national team at the 2015 World Cup in Chile.
In Dynamo, Gomes will play under the number 11
