Sunday became the last day for the BetBoom Bratsky Cup and the Bratsky Festival, which took place from July 3 to 7 and gave fans a sea of positive emotions during the summer off-season.
For five days, Petrovsky Park served as a venue where everyone could get acquainted with Russian and Serbian culture for free. The "Dynamo" Museum prepared more than a dozen master classes and fascinating lectures, simultaneously introducing visitors to the high-tech exhibition of the complex. Next to its building, Lev Yashin's personal car and the Dynamo retro bus were on display.
It was also possible to reminisce about history together with Dynamo veterans, whose autograph sessions became a daily ritual of the festival. At the "VTB Arena" and "VEB Arena," fans also had someone to take photos with: Alan Dzagoev, Rolan Gusev, Milos Bikovich, Maxim Mukhin, Igor Leshchuk, Milos Krasic, and Kamil Larin gave a bit of their attention to every fan who wished it.
Of course, at the festival, it was possible to engage in sports and compete with others in table tennis, chess, teqball, panna football, as well as participate in a 3 km run. There was even a pet-friendly run organized for pet owners, after which the mascot for "Dynamo" for the 2024/25 season was chosen. In the contest, organized in conjunction with our partner Brit, an Australian Shepherd named Daisy won.
Every day on the park stage, performers played live music, and top artists warmed up the audience at the stadiums: Lesha Svik, Mia Boyka, Egor Kreed, The Limba, Ivanushki International, and Rock Privet.
At the open-air summer cinema from "Citylink," they showed sports films, a variety of Dynamo content, and broadcasts of all the matches of the BetBoom Bratsky Cup. And there was plenty to see: an abundance of goals, the heat of passion, joint warm-ups of Serbian and Russian fans, as well as former stars who once again donned the Dynamo and CSKA uniforms (Denis Kolodin, Jovan Tanasijević, Ruslan Pimenov, Miloš Krasić, and Zoran Tošić appeared on the field for a few minutes).
Many representatives of the football community attended the tournament – from Arsen Zakharyan and Stanislav Cherchesov to World Champions Marco Materazzi and David Trezeguet. In the end, in the confrontation between Russia and Serbia, the Russians won, keeping the trophy in Moscow.
