Dynamo Moscow and central midfielder Joao Paulo de Souza Mares, better known as Bitello, have signed a five-year contract. Dynamo have agreed on the transfer of 23-year-old football player with the Brazilian giant Gremio.
Bitello is a product of the Cascavel Club. Playing in the Parana State Championship, he attracted the attention of the Gremio scouts. The famous Brazilian club took a promising footballer on loan first, and then invited him on permanent basis.
Since April last year, Bitello began playing for the Gremio U-23 team in the Brazilian Serie B. Starting in 2023, the midfielder has established himself in the first team of Porto Alegre side.
In total, Bitello played 92 matches for Gremio in various tournaments, in which he scored 17 goals and made 8 assists. In September 2023, he made his debut for the Brazilian Olympic team in a game against Morocco.
