Daniil Fomin: We played as a team and deserved to win

— Rubin are historically a very difficult rival for Dynamo. Our team won only the fifth match in history. When you face such opponents, do you have a special motivation?

— I didn't think much about it. The coach tuned us for an important match. We started very well, scored a goal, there were still chances. I think we deserved to win.

— Rubin are a powerful attacking team, but today they had a minimum of attempts. How did you manage to stop the opponent?

— Everyone played well in defense both forwards and defenders. In difficult situations, the goalkeeper helped us out. Leshchuk is well done. We played as a team, we were the whole unit, so we won.

— This is the first time you scored by a header for Dynamo. Why did you decide to hit in a jump?

— In that episode I could only head. So I had to fall, but the main thing is that I scored.

— Have you scored by a header in your career before?

— Yes, I scored such goals in the previous team. I am glad that now I have opened my personal score of goals by a header at Dynamo.

— The team had a difficult run of three consecutive matches in eight days. What are your conditions now?

— I felt good, the team too, I think. Maybe we got tired somewhere in the 75th minute, and just Leshchuk helped us out, saved us in difficult situations. The most important thing is that we won.
