The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League fifteenth round that was held at VTB Arena ended in a 6:1 blowout win for the hosts.
By the end of the first part of the season all Dynamo players joined the squad. There was no injured and disqualified footballers and the starting eleven repeated the initial formation from the previous match.
The White-Blues started the game well. The attacks of the hosts came in waves forcing Khimki to think more about defense. If Fedor Smolov couldn't benefit from Zakharyan's accurate pass, Moumi Ngamaleu was luckier catching Vitaly Gudiyev's mistake. The Cameroonian international scored his debut goal for Dynamo and celebrated it with a somersault.
Khimki responded with two episodes when the teammates created nice chances for Aleksandr Rudenko. Firstly, the former Spartak striker missed the target after Mirzov's backheel pass. Then, he tried to turn on Messi mode curling the ball over Shunin, but shot wide.
The second goal of the White-Blues turned out to be logical. Ngamaleu made a cross into the penalty box and Denis Makarov headed the ball home.
The hosts continued to dominate and finished the first half in a positive mood. Daniil Fomin started the attack with a great diagonal pass, Zakharyan beat the goalkeeper and offered a chance to Smolov who hit the empty net – 3:0.
Immediately after the interval there has been a sad incident on the pitch. Roberto Fernandez landed badly and felt pain in the back of his thigh. Nicholas Marichal entered the game from the bench.
The hosts missed two great chances before scoring for the fourth time. Once again Slavisa Jokanovic's substitutions worked well. Vyacheslav Grulev assisted on Konstatntin Tyukavin who played calmly and beat the goalkeeper of the Khimki side.
By the final whistle another substitute Yaroslav Gladyshev put his name on the scoresheet. And he did it twice converting teammates' combinations. The talented youngster scored his first brace for Dynamo.
However, this was not the last goal in this match which was rich in events. Khimki players earned a penalty and Ilya Sadygov erased the zero off the scoreboard scoring from the eleven-meter spot.
Dynamo picked up 26 points and jumped to fourth in standings. In the next round Slavisa Jokanovic's men will face Rostov on the road on November 6.
