The encounter of the Cup elite group round, which was held in Orenburg, ended in a 3:0 win.

Sandro Schwarz kept his word and fielded the strongest squad for the key Cup match against Orenburg. Dynamo head coach provided Shunin, Moro, Fomin and Ordets with some rest. Kutitsky came out as a holding midfielder, Zakharyan and Szymanski shared functions in the midfield, while Grulyov, Tyukavin and N’Jie appeared in the attack. Seven Dynamo Academy prospects made the starting line-up at once.

Orenburg were the first side to organize some threat from the very beginning. After that, the visitors took the advantage and soon opened the score. Zakharyan made a high-class cross from the left wing, and another young star Tyukavin converted his teammate’s effort into a 1:0 lead.

The Southern Ural side tried to respond well, and Leshchuk was forced to show his skills several times. In the 34th minute, Koryan made a killer pass to Shabolin, but Dynamo goalkeeper stood firm and neutralized the one-on-one breakthrough.

In the first half Clinton N’Jie was one of the most active players on the football pitch. The Cameroonian international took part in different passing sequences. He capitalized once on Zakharyan’s assist, striking on goal. Poletayev turned the shot aside, and Tyukavin succeeded in rebounding. Unfortunately, the linesman flagged for offside.

During the break, both coaches made two substitutions: Fomin came out instead of Szymanski, while Fameyeh replaced Diallo as a centre-forward. Ten minutes later, Makarov made his first appearance after missing previous fixtures against Spartak and Khimki due to injury.

Orenburg controlled the ball but couldn’t level the game. Leshchuk denied Prudnikov’s effort saving his team’s lead. Ten minutes before the final whistle the visitors put more pressure on the opponent.

The Moscow side showed a bright performance adding two goals on the scoresheet. Firstly, Moro hit the post by his header converting Skopintsev’s cross. However, the Croatian didn’t stop, picked up a rebound and doubled Dynamo’s lead. Six minutes later Fomin executed a corner kick finding Yevgenyev’s head who made all hosts' hopes ruined.

Dynamo achieved their first victory in Orenburg in history and promoted to the round of 16 of the Betcity Russian Cup that will be held in early March.
