The encounter of the RPL twelfth round that was held at the VTB Arena, ended in a 4:1 blowout victory in Dynamo’s favor.
On the eve of the match, Sandro Schwarz had to decide how to substitute the disqualified Sebastian Szymanski who had received the fourth yellow card in the previous game. As a result, Zakharyan settled in the midfield together with Fomin, Tyukavin took the centre-forward position, while Grulyov shifted to the left channel. Balbuena returned to the starting lineup. At Khimki, both leaders Glushakov and Kukharchuk remained on the bench that curtailed the Moscow region team’s power in attack.
On the day commemorating the legendary Lev Yashin, Dynamo took the advantage immediately after the kick-off. And the lead came soon. The Muscovites did not stop for a second. One of the heroes of the encounter Grulyov celebrated a brace, when his low shot exploded through Ilya Lantratov’s legs for the fourth. In his turn, Zakharyan registered a hat-trick of assists.
