On Wednesday, the former Dynamo Moscow striker Dmitry Bulykin turns 45 years old.
Dmitry was born in Moscow and started playing football at the Lokomotiv school. His adult career also began there – he won the Russian Cup twice as a member of the railway workers, after which he moved to Dynamo in 2001.
For 6 years, the ram-type forward played 131 matches in a blue and white T-shirt, scored 29 goals and gave 12 assists, including "2 + 2" in a memorable match with Zenit (7:1) in 2003. A few months later, he made his debut in the Russian national team, playing for her later at Euro 2004.
Bulykin left Dynamo for Europe, where he successfully played for Bayer, Anderlecht, Fortuna, Den Haag, Twente and Ajax, with whom he became the champion of the Netherlands. He finished his career in 2014 in Nizhny Novgorod "Volga", having managed to get into the "Club of 100 Russian scorers" – he scored 106 goals in his career.
