The meeting of the 15th round of the World of the Russian Premier League, held at VTB Arena, ended with the victory of Dynamo with a score of 3:1.
Compared to the previous round, there were two changes in the starting lineup of the blue and white: Igor Leshchuk took the place of the injured Andrei Lunev in the goal, and El-Mehdi Mauhub appeared in the line of attack instead of Arthur. Thus, for the first time in the championship Dynamo came out with two forwards.
And this tactic worked pretty quickly. First, Mauhub got through on the left flank and rolled under the blow to Konstantin Tyukavin, but he almost did not get to the ball. Literally in the next attack, the Moroccan's persistence paid off: he fought in the penalty area after Jorge Carrascal's discount, the ball flew back to the Colombian, after which Kirill Bozhenov played with his hand. A clean penalty – Luis Chavez struck without a chance for Nikita Medvedev and dedicated the goal to his unborn child.
By tradition, the return goal did not have to wait long. Four minutes later, Juan Boselli received a pass from out, got away from several Dynamo players and irresistibly shot under the crossbar – 1:1.
Muscovites firmly seized the advantage, but they penetrated into the opponent's penalty area with difficulty. Witty standard practical jokes could come to the rescue: after one of them, Nicolas Ngamaleu swung at repeating his Makhachkala masterpiece, and after the second, Daniil Fomin delivered a sighted blow under the crossbar, from where Medvedev fished him out in a jump.
Tyukavin put his foot under another long–range blow from Fomin - next to the barbell. A little earlier, Kostya created a good moment for Carrascal, who was prevented from shooting from close range by the defenders. And yet, Dynamo left for the break, leading in the score: after a protracted attack, Carrascal gave into the penalty area, Roberto Fernandez touched up the ball on Ngamaleu, whose shot, thanks to a rebound from the defender's foot, hit the net.
The second half started just as pleasantly. Carrascal fought on the right flank, dragged the ball to the penalty area and brought Mauhub to the strike position – first, the Nizhny Novgorod gate was saved by the bar, and Chavez's finishing from 20 meters had to hit the left nine!
Boselli could soon arrange his double. At first, he ambushed Nicolas Marichal's unsuccessful discount and sent the ball into an empty net, but Fabian Balbuena got in his way. A little later, the guests' forward was already spinning the ball into the far corner from the other side, and Leshchuk deflected the threat in a beautiful jump.
In the 63rd minute Marcel Licka made the first substitution, releasing Arthur instead of Tyukavin. Immediately, the Brazilian scored a long-range shot next to the bar. The Ngamaleu shot from about the same point turned out to be even more dangerous – it was separated by centimeters from the fourth goal.
Viktor Okishor was the next to appear on the field. With the first touch, he hung from the corner exactly on the head of Mauhub, after which the ball whistled over the crossbar. A couple of minutes later Okishor rolled the ball well into the semicircle area, from where Fernandez again struck a little higher. The end was marked by the replacement of Diego Laxalt, who missed a month due to injury.
Dynamo scored 30 points and after the first round take fourth place in the standings. Now the blue and white will play away from Voronezh Fakel on November 24.
