The 2023 U21 European Championship qualifying encounter, which was held in Alytus, ended in a 3:0 win in favor of the Russian youth team.
Konstantin Tyukavin started the game and played 84 minutes on the pitch. In the second half, Dynamo centre-forward penetrated the penalty area from the left wing and accurately shot into the far corner opening the score. Then Kostya capitalized from Maradishvili's cross and netted a brace from close range.
Tyukavin scored his first goals for the Russia U21 team.
After four rounds the Russians earned 9 points and are second in the table of their qualifying group.
