The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League tenth round that was held in Grozny ended in a 1:1 draw.
Daniil Fomin, who was not available for three previous matches due to injury, came to the starting eleven and formed a tandem with Luis Chavez in the midfield. Bitello occupied the playmaking position, while Dmitry Skopintsev returned to his usual left wing.
In the 2nd minute the White-Blues created a nice chance: Nicolas Ngamaleu made a clever pass to Konstantin Tyukavin to the penalty area. The 21-year-old striker shot low and Mikhail Oparin put his efforts into saving the team. Jorge Carrascal succeeded on rebound but Darko Todorovic managed to clear the ball off the goal line. In their first offensive the Grozny side tested Anton Shunin's vigilance, who took the ball calmly after Vladimir Ilyin's long-range strike.
In the 21st minute the hosts opened the score. Yevgeny Kharin turned Carrascal flank and assisted on Svetoslav Kovachev. The Bulgarian winger beat Shunin with a low shot into the far corner. Taking the lead, the Chechen team defended competently using fouls to stop the Muscovites. By the half-time whistle three footballers of Akhmat got yellow cards but their quantity could have been different.
The best chances of the first half came to Fomin. Firstly, the Russian international struck under the crossbar and Oparin made a nice save. Then Daniil hit the post when finishing a cool attack in which Eli Dasa and Bitello participated. The White-Blues equalized at the start of the second half. Ngamaleu awarded a free kick for Dynamo. Bitello crossed to the far post from where Roberto Fernandez headed the ball home. This goal didn't change the course of the game. Dynamo players were taking the ball under their control while Akhmat looked for free zones in counterattacks.
In the 62nd minute Marcel Licka made the first substitution. Fedor Smolov, who stayed beyond the starting line-up for the first time this season, replaced for Carrascal. The experienced forward could score immediately. However, his shot has been blocked by the defender and in the next phase of the attack Smolov kicked Todorovic's leg instead of the ball. The Grozny side responded with a dangerous offensive, when Shunin together with Eli Dasa prevented Mohamed Konaté from scoring.
The White-Blues were much closer to take the lead. Smolov continued to waste his chances shooting into Oparin. Then Denis Makarov had similar attempts but missed the target three times. When four minutes before the final whistle remained, Bernard Berisha hit the post running one-on-one with Dynamo goalkeeper. Daniel Junior was first on rebound but couldn't send the ball into the empty net. As a result the first third of the season ended in a draw for Marcel Licka's team.
Dynamo collected 16 points and stay seventh in the table. On October 4, the White-Blues will face Spartak in the Russian Cup derby at VTB Arena.
