The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 23rd round that was held at VTB Arena, ended in a 3:1 win for the White-Blues.

Aleksandr Kutitsky returned to the starting line-up for the first time in five last games having recovered from injury. Roberto Fernandez experienced one-match disqualification and also saw his name in the team list. Dmitry Skopintsev played the hundredth match for Dynamo in the left-back position where he is replacing injured Diego Laxalt.

The White-Blues started actively putting high pressure on the opponent. The defenders of the Nizhny Novgorod side worked without rest trying to clear the ball from the penalty box. The first attack held by the visitors turned out to be dangerous but Dmitry Stotsky was not lucky in finishing.

By the half-time whistle both teams exchanged nice chances. After the corner kick Artyom Sokolov tested Shunin's reaction with the volley. In the last minute of the half Denis Makarov got the ball inside the penalty area and attempted to kick it over Artur Nigmatullin who managed to save Pari Nizhny Novgorod.

During the break Slavisa Jokanovic made a double subsitution. Milan Majstorovic and Fedor Smolov got playing time in the second half. Dynamo came out with two forwards, while Arsen Zakharyan shifted to the left wing.

Changes helped our team play strongly and dangerous chances were not long in coming. In one of these episodes Kirill Gotsuk hit the post of Nizhny Novgorod goal. Then, Kakkoyev who stood on the goal line, did not let the ball pass through him.

Football is not usually fair. One of rare attacks held by the visitors led to a penalty. Skopintsev stopped Stotsky's cross with the hand and the Pari NN side was rewarded with the penalty. The referee consulted the VAR screen and pointed out to the penalty spot. Denis Glushakov who came as a substitute within the second period, converted it leaving no chance for Shunin.

Slavisa Jokanovic went to the limit fielding Vyacheslav Grulev, Yaroslav Gladyshev and Luka Gagnidze. Dynamo players continued to bombard the opponents' goal from distance thanks to Tyukavin, Fomin and Gagnidze's attempts.
