The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League twelfth round that was held at VEB Arena ended in a 1:1 draw.

Three changes have been made in the starting eleven in comparison with the previous round. Roberto Fernandez and Denis Makarov came back after being disqualified while Dmitry Skopintsev replaced Diego Laxalt on the left wing.

The first ten minutes were equal but then the hosts capitalised on their set-pieces. Firstly, Anton Shunin denied Willyan Rocha's effort after the free-kick. Soon CSKA players opened the score. Konstantin Kuchayev crossed to the far post, where the Brazilian Rocha remained without custody, jumped high and headed in – 1:0.

After the conceded goal the White-Blues activated their efforts and organized some smart vertical attacks. Fedor Smolov missed the target twice from nice positions, while Denis Makarov finished the corner taking with his header. Unfortunately, the ball landed on the net of the goal.

The Army men responded with Fedor Chalov's runs who was close to double the team's lead.

Dynamo equalised by the half-time whistle. Eli Dasa crossed to the penalty box, Kirill Nababkin played poorly and Smolov fired into the net. In added time Mathias Normann got a shoulder injury and was forced to leave the pitch for Aleksandr Kutitsky.

CSKA started the second half with a massive pressure. Chalov and Milan Gajic got comfortable chances to bring the hosts the lead back, but failed in finishing. Slavisa Jokanovic tried to change the game with substitutions. Yaroslav Gladyshev and Vyacheslav Grulev created two bright chances which could offer Dynamo three points.

Kutitsky slipped through several opponents and rolled the ball to Grulev. Vyacheslav tested luck firing into the crossbar. In one minute Tyukavin outran Rocha, went head-to-head with Akinfeyev but couldn't beat the legendary goalkeeper. This draw became the fiftieth one in the brother's derby.

Dynamo remain eighth on 17 points. In the next round fixture the White-Blues will host Orenburg at VTB Arena on October 15.
