The fourth friendly game that was held at the third VTB training camp ended in a 2:1 win for the Armymen.
Both sides started the game in practically main squads. 15 out of 22 footballers came to the pitch three months ago in RPL matchday 17 that ended in a win of the White-Blues (2:1).
The match repeated the official one by intense actions and a number of tackles. As a result, the referee Vladimir Seldyakov has shown four yellow cards for both sides equally. The Armymen looked good in the first half an hour. They took the ball under control, but it didn't lead to anything special.
Wingbacks added charm and suddenness to the game. If Milan Gajic tested Anton Shunin with an easy strike, Eli Dasa did more. Dynamo right-back shifted to the middle and drilled the ball accurately into the top corner. It is worth of remark that the Israeli defender scored his first goal in the white and blue jersey.
The goal changed the scenario of the match. Both teams started to move the ball quickly and exchanged chances by the end. Smolov misplayed a promising moment, while Moises missed the target curling the ball into the far corner.
CSKA came to the second half taking an obvious advantage. Shunin had to save the team twice. Firstly, he denied Gajic's effort and then reacted to Nikita Yermakov's shot from short distance. The Armymen were holding the initiative that led to an equaliser. Fedor Chalov hit the post and Gajic scored an empty netter when rebounding.
In the 65th minute Slavisa Jokanovic made a triple substitution fielding the heroes of the morning encounter - Vyacheslav Grulev and Konstantin Tyukavin as well as Diego Laxalt. Fresh forces added danger - Grulev couldn't shoot from inside the penalty box, the ball rolled to Tyukavin, who was unable to beat Akinfeyev in close action.
By the end of the match the Red-Blues managed to pull out a victory. Jorge Carrascal found Jesus Medina with a clever pass and the Paraguayan winger struck into the near top corner. Luka Gagnidze had the last chance in the match. However, the Georgian youngster's shot turned out to be weak. This defeat was the first and the only one for our team at winter training camps.
Dynamo will stay in Turkey and continue preparing for the Russian Cup match against Krylia Sovetov in Samara. The quarterfinal first leg is scheduled on February 23 (kick-off time is at 3 p.m.). The second leg fixture will be held at VTB Arena on March 1 (kick-off time is at 8 p.m.).
