Dynamo lose to Akhmat on the road

The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League eleventh round that was held at Grozny ended in a 2:1 win for the hosts.

Before the match Slavisa Jokanovic faced some problems with the squad. Roberto Fernandez and Denis Makarov were disqualified while Luka Gagnidze came back from Georgia U-21 with an injury. As a result, Saba Sazonov and Nicholas Marichal formed a centre-back tandem, Vyacheslav Grulev and Nicolas Ngamaleu dropped on both wings.

The teams exchanged dangerous chances within the first ten minutes. Fedor Smolov fired wide, but Bernard Berisha was more accurate hitting the near corner under Eli Dasa. Anton Shunin was vigilant and palmed the ball away.

On the 22nd minute the hosts registered their lead. Anton Shvets headed in after the corner kick taken by Lechi Sadulayev. The Grozny side continued to dominate: Sadulayev and Ivan Oleynikov tested Shunin with long distance shots.

During the first half Ngamaleu was one of the most effective players in Dynamo team. The Cameroonian international managed to tackle and dribble. Moumi also suffered two fouls which were penalised with yellow cards.

After the interval Mathias Normann left for Konstantin Tyukavin and the White-Blues started using the 4-4-2 formation. The agile Tyukavin hit the crossbar with the header taking Ngamaleu's cross. The Grozny side responded with their super chance when Shunin made a marvelous save.

Akhmat captain Utsiyev saved his teammates twice by stopping Vyacheslav Grulev in two cases. Dynamo players kept pressure on the opponent that led to the second yellow card shown to Sadulayev by the referee.

By the end of the match Jokanovic fielded fresh forces – Yaroslav Gladyshev, Dmitry Skopintsev and Daniil Lesovoy. But the hosts played compactly in defense and didn't leave free zones for Dynamo. The White-Blues managed to cut the lead only in added time. Gladyshev dragged the ball to the penalty area and sent it into the bottom corner getting the debut RPL goal.
