The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League ninth round that was held at Fisht Stadium ended in 1:2 defeat.

The Paraguayan international Roberto Fernandez served a disqualification and returned to the starting eleven forming a duo with another Latin American centre-back Nicholas Marichal. Two newcomers – Eli Dasa and Mathias Normann, as well as Diego Laxalt who successfully recovered from injury entered the team list.

The Sochi side started well. When Artyom Makarchuk missed the target with his header, it was a shot across the bow for Dynamo. In the next attack the hosts opened the score. Sergey Terekhov and Nikita Burmistrov delivered the ball to Georgi Melkadze who executed brilliantly. The White-Blues who had to equalise for the first time this season ran forward and were knocked down once again. Melkadze assisted on Christian Noboa who disappointed his former team.

Dynamo responded with two bright chances of Vyacheslav Grulev. Luka Gagnidze and Denis Makarov made nice assists to Slava, but the number 20 couldn't put his name on the scoresheet.

Makarov was rewarded for his diligence and insistence five minutes before the half-time whistle. The goalkeeper decided to dribble inside the box, Denis puzzled out and cut the hosts' lead.

During the break Slavisa Jokanovic made a triple substitution fielding Daniil Lesovoy, Mathias Normann and Fedor Smolov. The Sochi side played tight and didn't let enough space for Dynamo. The White-Blues tried to surprise the opponent and used both wings where full-backs were active.

On the 65th minute Eli Dasa made his debut for the Moscow side substituting Parshivlyuk. The visitors put pressure on Sochi, interacted well near the penalty box, but they lacked the final pass. The best chance for an equaliser came to Normann who took a dangerous free-kick. However, the Norwegian sent the ball into the wall of legs.

Dynamo lost in the Premier League for the first time this season. In the next RPL fixture our team will play against Zenit Saint Petersburg at VTB Arena on September 17.
