The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 30th round that was held in Orenburg, ended in a 3:0 win for the hosts.
A large group of footballers was not available for this game for medical reasons, so Dynamo caretaker manager Pavel Alpatov had to return to one of the classic formations supposing one centre-forward – Konstantin Tyukavin. Nicolas Ngamaleu and Diego Laxalt appeared on the left wing. The Uruguayan international started the match for the first time this year. Only 19-year-old winger Ulvi Babayev represented the attacking group on the bench.
One minute after the kick-off whistle, Aleksandr Ektov beat Igor Leschuk in one-on-one situation, however the linesman flagged for offside. Unfortunately, Dynamo could not avoid an early conceded goal: Gabriel Florentin struck powerfully from 25 meters, Leshchuk palmed the ball in front of him and Brian Mansilla scored an empty netter.
The White-Blues did not lose courage and created several dangerous chances in the attack. Ngamaleu looked for Tyukavin with a clever low cross, while Aleksey Kenyaykin jumped to the ball and saved his team. In the next episode Tyukavin got the pass in a promising position and went to the shooting zone, but this time the Orenburg goalkeeper managed to get closer to Dynamo young forward and denied his attempt.
Orenburg were also not going to sit out in defense. Within one minute, Saba Sazonov saved the goal after Ektov's shot from inside the penalty area, and when the hosts performed a corner kick, Leshchuk reacted to a dangerous strike by Lucas Vera. The Argentine playmaker gained purpose few minutes later by assisting on Dmitry Vorobyov, who sent the ball over Leshchuk – 2:0.
Three minutes later, a similar episode occured in the Orenburg penalty box: after Yaroslav Gladyshev's pass, Ngamaleu hit over Kenyaykin, but the goalkeeper of the home team stood till the end and turned the ball over the crossbar with his fingertips.
At the beginning of the second half Dynamo took advantage of the game. Zakharyan crossed to the far post, where Ngamaleu seemed to find his luck, but Ektov managed to block the Cameroonian forward. After that, Arsen struck himself from distance – Kenyaykin made one more save. On the opposite half of the pitch, Vladimir Obukhov ran off one-on-one with the goalkeeper. At the last moment Saba Sazonov managed to catch up with the Orenburg centre-forward and put his foot under the shot.
After numerous substitutions, the game opened up even more. Stepan Oganesyan rolled the ball to Jimmy Marin, whose shot was deflected by Leshchuk at point-blank range. In Dynamo attack Dmitry Skopintsev hit the crossbar. By the middle of the half the hosts scored again: Florentin dragged the ball to the penalty area and passed to Vera, who drilled it into the right corner.
In the 85th minute, Dynamo-2 best scorer Babayev made his debut for the first team. With his first touch, the young winger earned a dangerous free kick on the left wing. This was not a unique action to be noted. Ulvi was really active in remaining time.
Despite the last attempts to score a consolation goal, Dynamo players did not manage to disappoint the hosts. The White-Blues finished ninth the 2022/23 season on 45 points.
