Dynamo lose to Ružomberok in friendly match in Turkey

# VTB Training Camp

The fourth friendly encounter at winter VTB training camps ended in a 1:2 defeat of the White-Blues.

Before the game, our team dealt with some difficulties. A large group of regular players, including all centre-backs, missed the match. That’s why Sandro Schwarz had to try something new and invited Dynamo-2 players. As a result, Svyatoslav Tses and Denis Osokin played all 90 minutes as centre-backs.

The Slovak side got started well. The visitors penetrated Igor Leshchuk’s penalty area several times, but it did not come to serious danger. Dynamo needed one chance to open the score: Konstantin Tyukavin looked diligent when the Ružomberok keeper denied his first effort, but the youngster rebounded the ball and sent it exactly into the near bottom corner.

The next chance came to Vladislav Galkin, who fired dangerously from outside the penalty box, and the Slovak international Ivan Krajčírik had to save his team.

In the middle of the first half, Ružomberok managed to win back – Matej Madleňák rushed down the left wing and made a low cross into the penalty area, where Filip Lichý netted a goal in a fall. Soon the Slovaks could take the lead, but Leshchuk turned the ball away after a shot from several meters.

Immediately after the interval, Maksim Kipkayev made his debut for Dynamo first team coming on as a substitute instead of Nikola Moro. Ružomberok dominated since the start of the second half: Martin Rymarenko shot wide from a free kick, and then Lukáš Fabiš tested Leshchuk from distance.

In the 60th minute, the Dynamo coaching staff fielded several players of the first team and the game changed for a while. Gladyshev made an accurate pass exactly to Fedor Smolov, whose effort was stopped by the goalkeeper.

The Slovak side pulled out a victory in the end: Rymarenko escaped Tses' tackle and confidently got a handle on a one-on-one situation.

In the final friendly at the first Turkish training camp, the White-Blues will play against Serbian giants FK Partizan on February 2.
