The encounter of the RPL 26th round that was held at VEB Arena ended in a 0:1 defeat.

Nikola Moro, who had got a laceration of the upper lip in the Cup match, recovered for the derby and entered the starting line-up. Diego Laxalt also started the game against CSKA and took the left-back position.

The play was tight in the first half and led to numerous ball losses from both sides. Dynamo footballers interplayed well coming to the penalty box of the Army men. But the final touch lacked and the visitors were focused on long-range shots. Denis Makarov, Nikola Moro and Sebastian Szymanski tested Igor Akinfeyev with easy strikes.

CSKA explosed the game by two attacks from the left wing. Anton Shunin denied Jorge Carrascal's effort while Anton Zabolotny missed the target.

After the break the White-Blues added in pace and the chances were not long in coming. Akinfeyev turned Daniil Fomin's attempt aside with his fingertips. Then Jaka Bijol cleared the ball from Arsen Zakharyan who was close to finish.

The Army men took the lead after the first dangerous attack in the second half. On 67th minute, Chidera Ejuke showed his racing skills, ran one-on-one with Shunin and opened the score hitting the right corner.

Sandro Schwarz renewed the attacking group immediately fielding Konstantin Tyukavin and Daniil Lesovoy. Dynamo players could come from behind when Vyacheslav Grulev made a pivot inside CSKA penalty box and assisted on his fellow Tyukavin. However, the talented youngster hit the far post.
