The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 6th round that was held at Kazan, ended in a 2:2 draw.

After four consecutive wins in RPL and Russian Cup changes in Dynamo starting eleven were minimal. Eli Dasa replaced Stanislav Bessmertnyi on the right wing, while Sergey Parshivlyuk joined the team list. The veteran recovered from injury and was available for the trip to Kazan.

Dynamo quickly repressed Rubin's starting pressure and could open the score in the 4th minute. Fedor Smolov ran past four defenders and struck sharply from outside the penalty area. Yury Dyupin reacted to this shot and saved the team. On the opposite side of the pitch Umarali Rakhmonaliyev finished a clever pass by former Dynamo player Aleksandr Zotov. However, Anton Shunin looked solid in this episode.

Dmitry Skopintsev continued a series of long-distance shots trying to disturb Dyupin as often as possible. The White-Blues interplayed well on wings, but their crosses were often cleared by Rubin defenders. A nice chance came to Konstantin Tyukavin who opened up for Skopintsev's cross and headed wide from a great position.

By the end of the first half the hosts took the lead. After the corner kick Marichal fouled on Mirlind Daku inside the penalty area and Dynamo were penalised with a penalty. The Kosovo international converted the eleven-meter shot himself.

The second half started with two good chances for Makarov. In the first occasion Dynamo winger hit the far post being in an offside position and then he struck wide finishing a long-running attack.

The culmination occurred when Nicholas Marichal had got the second yellow card by stopping Daku with his hand. Marcel Licka didn't make any change but Dynamo equalised. Makarov played well on rebound and volleyed the ball into the right top corner. After scoring the equaliser Tyukavin has been substituted by Saba Sazonov.

Rubin organized intense pressure and Shunin had to save the Moscow side twice by neutralising Marat Apshatsev's and Joel Fameye's efforts. In the 75th minute Skopintsev put Dynamo ahead with a marvelous shot into the far top corner leaving no chance for Dyupin.

In the next 20 minutes our team defended confidently and calmly. However, the hosts could avoid a defeat by scoring in added time with the help of a set-piece. Fameye headed the ball home from close distance.

The White-Blues collected 11 points and stay fourth in standings. In the upcoming fixture of the Fonbet Russian Cup group stage Dynamo will face Spartak on the road on Tuesday, August 29.
