The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 28th round, which was held in Kaliningrad, ended in a 3:2 win for the White-Blues.

In comparison with the previous match against Sochi, Marcel Licka made three changes to the starting line-up. Nicholas Marichal and Dmitry Skopintsev established themselves as wingbacks this time, while Nicolas Ngamaleu came out as a left winger.

The match started perfectly — Dynamo opened the score in the 3rd minute: Luis Chavez assisted on Ngamaleu in the penalty area, Nicolas crossed low, and Konstantin Tyukavin put the ball into the net. Our top scorer netted a goal in the sixth consecutive match!

The scored goal gave Dynamo new impulse and confidence. Soon, Ngamaleu tried to throw Yevgeny Latyshonok from the midfield, but the ball flew a little higher. In the next attack, Moumi struck more precisely from under the defender's leg, and the goalkeeper of the hosts made a save. Then, Skopintsev accelerated down the left wing, crossed greatly to the penalty box, from where Tyukavin headed the ball over the crossbar.

Gradually, the Kaliningrad side came to their senses and began to move more and more often to Dynamo half of the pitch. Honestly speaking, they did not manage to create any danger for a long time. Unless we can remember a shot from the corner of the penalty area made by Yury Kovalev, which passed a couple of meters from the post. But in the 32nd minute, the hosts equalized: Angelo Henriquez benefited from a rebound in Igor Leshchuk's goal area and sent the ball into the net with his header from several meters away. As a result, the first half ended in a draw.

After the break, the struggle went even tighter, which did not contribute to a large number of dangerous chances. Original actions were needed. So, Diego Laxalt switched Dynamo attack to the opposite wing involving Carrascal in attack, but the Colombian's effort turned out to be inaccurate.

A couple of minutes later, Diego made a nice interception and assisted on Carrascal again, but this time Jorge slipped in the penalty area at the awkward time. In the following attack, Dynamo players shot four times from outside the penalty box, but all four attempts were blocked by Baltika defenders.

It was necessary to look for luck in attack, and Licka fielded Bitello instead of Chavez. Immediately, the hosts organized a fast offensive, which was finished by Alex Fernandez — fortunately, the shot turned out to be inaccurate. A couple of minutes later, Baltika took their lead. The Belarusian tandem became the author of this goal. Vitaly Lisakovich beat Fabian Balbuena and Nicholas Marichal and rolled the ball to Kirill Kaplenko, who struck into the empty net.

Dynamo rushed to come from behind, and a run-and-gun game began. Skopintsev crossed accurately to Tyukavin, whose header was denied by Latyshonok. Roberto Fernandez, who came on as a substitute in Baltika squad, did not convert a one-on-one run, shooting centimeters away from the post.

And then the second incredible ending happened in 7 days. In the 93rd minute, Daniil Fomin put a cross into the center of the penalty area from a corner, from where Dynamo Roberto Fernandez scored an equaliser. In the 98th minute, Tigran Avanesyan missed a nice chance from a killing position, and a minute later Tyukavin shifted to the left wing and crossed to the far post, from where Ngamaleu hit the far top corner, scoring the second game winning goal in one week!

Dynamo won their fifth match in a row, collected 53 points and are now two points ahead of Zenit. In the next RPL round, the White-Blues will face Krylya Sovetov at home on Saturday, May 18. Buy tickets to VTB Arena on our website.
