The preliminary squad includes 30 players. But only 26 will be in the final list.

Goalkeepers: Yuri Dyupin (Rubin), Andrey Lunyov (Zenit), Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar), Anton Shunin (Dynamo).

Defenders: Georgy Dzhikiya (Spartak), Igor Diveyev, Mario Fernandez (both from CSKA), Roman Yevgenyev (Dynamo), Yury Zhirkov, Vyacheslav Karavayev (both from Zenit), Fyodor Kudryashov (Antalyaspor), Ilya Samoshnikov (Rubin), Andrey Semyonov (Akhmat).

Midfielders: Dmitry Barinov, Rifat Zhemaletdinov, Maxim Mukhin (all from Lokomotiv), Alexander Golovin (Monaco), Arsen Zakharyan, Daniil Fomin (both from Dynamo), Roman Zobnin (Spartak), Alexey Ionov (Krasnodar), Daler Kuzyayev, Andrey Mostovoy, Magomed Ozdoyev (all from Zenit), Denis Makarov (Rubin), Alexey Miranchuk (Atalanta), Denis Cheryshev (Valencia).

This is Zakharyan’s first call-up to the Russian national team.

Daniil Lesovoy is in the reserve list of 7 players.

The Russian national team will start preparing for the tournament on May 20th in Novogorsk. From May 22nd to 31st the team will hold a training camp in Austria. Two friendly matches are scheduled — against Poland on June 1st in Wroclaw and Bulgaria on June 5th in Moscow.

At the group stage of the European Championship, the Russians will play against Belgium (June 12th, St. Petersburg), Finland (June 16th, St. Petersburg) and Denmark (June 21st, Copenhagen).
