Fedor Smolov: I heard only our fans on the whole

# Fedor Smolov

Dynamo centre-forward shared his impressions of a big win over Arsenal Tula (4:1), the third goal since the Premier League resuming and fans’ loud support.

— You have already scored three goals in four games this year. Were you so inspired by returning to Dynamo?

— Yes, I am very glad to join Dynamo. Everything went well. I was accepted very quickly, all the guys help me. And I feel comfortable here. I'm happy to score.

— You opened the score after a cool pass by Ivan Novoseltsev. Did you stay in the Arsenal penalty area on purpose?

— No, in fact, I was sure that there was a foul on me inside the penalty box. And I was waiting for the referee's decision. As a result, he didn't even need to watch this episode.

— Today there were two different halves. Sandro Schwarz talked emotionally in the dressing room. What exactly did he say, and why the game changed so much?

— When we opened the scoring in the first half, we gave up the initiative and began to lose tackles. We allowed the opponent to create several chances and eventually conceded a goal. The game was slipping out of our hands. During the break, we talked and realized that this was not what we came here for. We came to the pitch and played at full pace in the second half. It's good that we won.

— For eight years Dynamo could not win in Tula, and finally this unsuccessful run ended. Why is it so difficult to play here?

— I can say that it is difficult not only for Dynamo, but for all teams in general. Arsenal are a home side, so it's not easy for everyone to play in Tula.

— You became third in the topscorer's race. Do you keep an eye on it?

— No. I know I'm staying behind, so I'm not really following these stats.

— There were a lot of Dynamo fans in the stands. Have you heard their support?

— Yes, of course. I heard only our fans on the whole. I thank them very much for their support! I hope that we made them happy by our football and the final score.
