FC Dynamo Moscow and Fedor Smolov have agreed on contract extension until the end of the 2023/24 season with one more year prolongation option.
The contract has been signed on May 31 at Dynamo STOre in GUM on Red Square.
Smolov returned to Dynamo in January 2022. Since then, he has scored 19 goals and made 9 assists in 46 matches. Last October, he registered his 100th goal in Russian championships and stays now sixth in the list of best scorers in the tournament history (104 goals).
As part of the White-Blues, Fedor became two-time bronze medalist in the Russian Premier League. He is also two-time Russian Cup holder (2018/19, 2020/21) and Super Cup winner (2019). Smolov became RPL top scorer twice (2015/16, 2016/17) and was named the footballer of the year by the RFU two times (2016 and 2018). Dynamo centre-forward has played 45 matches for the Russian national team and scored 16 goals.
