Sulakvelidze is a prospect of Khimki Academy. He spent one year at Arsenal Tula. Georgy joined Dynamo in August 2019. Firstly, he played for the U-21 team and then for Dynamo-2 (31 matches, 2 goals and 6 assists).
In January 2022, the 20-year-old midfielder went to VTB training camps with the first team. Sulakvelidze was included into the first team list for the RPL fixture against Khimki for the first time in his professional career.
