On Tuesday, the return play–off match took place, in which the Georgian national team lost to Croatia on the road in regular time with a score of 2:3 (it won the first meeting 1:0), and in the penalty shootout it turned out to be stronger - 7:6.
Dynamo midfielder Luka Gagnidze scored a beautiful goal with a long-range shot in the 28th minute of the meeting and was replaced in the 70th.
Georgians for the second time in history will take part in the final tournament of the youth Euro, which will be held in June 2025 in Slovakia.
