The meeting of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League, held in Grozny, ended with a score of 1:1.
Andrei Lunev and Fabian Balbuena stayed in Moscow for medical reasons, so the line of defense completely repeated the one that came out from the first minutes in Voronezh. Diego Laxalt was replaced in the center of the field by Jorge Carrascal, and Nicolas Ngamaleu came out on the right in the attack.
The start of the match was held with a minimum of sharpness and a lot of marriage in the programs. Arthur struck the first shot on target from behind the penalty area, disturbing Georgi Shelia, and Lechi Sadulaev could not throw the wall from a promising penalty area.
In the 22nd minute, the hosts managed to open the scoring: Darko Todorovich threw the ball into the penalty area, Daniil Utkin threw Roberto Fernandez, and Maxim Samorodov took advantage of his moment. Immediately the Grozny team could double their advantage – Nader Gandri head-butted into the very corner, where Igor Leshchuk caught the ball, and we also had to finish off our goalkeeper. After the corner, the ball reached Samorodov, and again Leshchuk stopped the shot on the ribbon.
After an unsuccessful segment, Dynamo cheered up a little and created a dangerous moment. Fernandez from the left flank accurately hung on the head of Konstantin Tyukavin, whose kick with a rebound from the lawn passed very close to the bar. At the very end of the half, Arthur already found Kostya's head in the penalty area, but this time the ball went over the target.
The blue and white started the second half much more actively. Carrascal hit hard from 20 meters – Shelia covered the ball on the second attempt. Arthur did a good turn into the penalty area, where Tyukavin and Nicolas Ngamaleu almost closed his cross.
The release of Bitello, Yaroslav Gladyshev and El-Mehdi Maouhoub instead of Luis Chavez, Arthur and Ngamaleu was called to strengthen the Dynamo impulses. And soon Carrascal threw a great shot into the penalty area at the Moroccan striker, whose head hit the home goalkeeper.
In a tight, viscous game, Dynamo still had a super moment in the 82nd minute: Tyukavin received the ball in the penalty area and shot at Gladyshev, who rolled back to Maouhoub with the second touch, whose shot at point-blank range was stopped by Todorovich. In the end, Marcel Licka went all in and released Vyacheslav Grulev instead of Eli Dasa.
But another Dynamo player was destined to become the hero of the meeting. In the fifth added minute Leshchuk went into the opponent's penalty area for a corner. Bitello made a cross, Igor won the aerial duel and made a lobbed shot, which Shelia could not catch, and the ball, hitting the lawn, flew into the net – 1:1!
And that wasn't all. In the last attack of the match, Grozny earned the right to a corner, after which Igor selflessly rushed under the blow at point-blank range and saved the team.
