The last friendly game of the second VTB training camp ended with a 2:1 win in the White-Blues’ favor.
Daniil Fomin and Alexander Kutitskiy returned to the starting eleven having missed the previous match against Ružomberok. The latter formed a centre-back duo with another youngster Denis Osokin. Four other centre-backs got some rest following the medical staff decision. Fabián Balbuena continues to defend the colors of the Paraguay national team.
Weather conditions caused a lot of troubles for both teams: a morning shower with hail was replaced by a hurricane wind, which lasted until the final whistle.
The first dangerous moment was created by Partizan players: Miloš Jojić fired from a free kick, but Shunin neutralized the threat. Two minutes later, Fomin turned out to be luckier and netted an opener with a light touch of the far post — 1:0.
The Serbian championship leaders tried to win back, but they had really dangerous chances only from the set-pieces: Igor Vujačić, Nemanja Miletić and Lazar Marković made efforts for an equalizer. However, Dynamo keeper stood firm and solid.
The White-Blues did not sit back. Uruguayan wingbacks Diego Laxalt and Guillermo Varela joined the attack well, while Denis Makarov and Yaroslav Gladyshev constantly changed their positions. Fedor Smolov could double Dynamo lead, but his right-footed attempt was turned away by the goalkeeper.
In the start of the second half both sides exchanged nice chances. Partizan scored an equalizer in the 63rd minute, when former Rubin and CSKA midfielder Bibras Natkho found himself uncovered at the far post and headed the ball home without any hesitation – 1:1.
By the 70th minute, the White-Blues squad completely renewed, and Dynamo youngsters took over the initiative. Konstantin Tyukavin, Vladislav Galkin and Kirill Zhukovskiy were close to score again, but the goalkeeper played great. In the 88th minute Fomin took a corner kick, and Galkin volleyed into the bottom left corner.
On Thursday, the White-Blues will complete the second training camp program and fly back to Moscow. The final stage of preparation is expected to be held in Turkey from February 7 to 18.
