The South American trio, as well right-back Sergey Parshivlyuk, formed the defensive line, while Nicolas Ngamaleu, Konstantin Tyukavin and Yaroslav Gladyshev joined the attacking group.
From the very beginning the White-Blues started pushing the opponent and forced the Bulgarians to sit back. Tyukavin shined in the final third threatening Arda goal constantly. However, the first duels were won by Anatoli Gospodinov, who denied two dangerous efforts made by our centre-forward.
The Muscovites opened the score in the 21st minute. Yaroslav Gladyshev crossed accurately to Daniil Fomin and Dynamo captain headed the ball into the empty net. Further on, Fomin created a good chance for Tyukavin, who wasn't able to beat Gospodinov from inside the penalty box.
The talented youngster could make the difference in the 41st minute. He stole the ball from Oumar Sako, moved forward and fired into the left top corner. When conceding the second goal, the Bulgarian side opened up. Preslav Borukov, who had spent four years at Sheffield Wednesday system, threatened Anton Shunin's goal with the header.
