The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 15th round that was held at VTB Arena, ended in a 2:0 win for the White-Blues.
Fedor Smolov was included to the list of injured players this week, while Eli Dasa went to the location of the Israeli national team for a qualifying match against Kosovo on Sunday. Following these circumstances, Dynamo coaching staff fielded Stanislav Bessmertnyi as a right-back and Bitello as a playmaker. It is worth of remark that 19-year-old striker Aleksandr Chupayov from Dynamo-2 appeared on the bench of the main team for the first time.
At the start of the match Dynamo players took over the initiative immediately. Already in the first minute, Yaroslav Gladyshev crossed to the penalty box, from where Nicolas Ngamaleu headed the ball under the crossbar – Nikolay Sysuyev jumped high to save his team. In the next episode, Moumi shined in a struggle on the wing and found Konstantin Tyukavin inside the penalty area, who made a timely assist to Bitello. Unfortunately, two efforts by the Brazilian were blocked by defenders from several meters away.
The Cameroonian winger, who had not started for more than a month, was eager to score and made the situation more dangerous for Orenburg team in almost every attack. In the 18th minute, he found Tyukavin again with a pass, who spun around the defender and shot at the goalkeeper. Then, Gladyshev took the ball under his control and rolled it to the goal area, from where Ngamaleu managed to fire wide. Next, Yaroslav almost hit the left corner with his famous curling strike.
The visitors did not think about any counterattacking play, and Dynamo continued to create chances with enviable regularity. Chavez' powerful shot was stopped by the defender's head, the ball bounced to Gladyshev, and then to Bitello, who tried to send it home with his backheel effort. However, Sysuyev took in the situation quickly. A couple of minutes later, Bitello contributed to Tyukavin's rendezvous with the goalkeeper, and Konstantin fired into the crossbar!
When both teams left dressing rooms for the second half, they exchanged the most dangerous chances immediately. Jimmy Marin ran out one-on-one with Igor Leshchuk, but he couldn't beat Dynamo goalkeeper. On the other half of the pitch Bitello intercepted the ball and started an attack, which Ngamaleu finished with a shot wide from 17 meters.
Orenburg players even managed to seize the initiative for a short time, but in the 59th minute they missed a quick counterattack. Bessmertnyi joined the attack down the right wing and crossed to the center of the penalty area. Sysuev dropped the ball right on Tyukavin's foot, and Kostya scored in his fourth consecutive match!
The load of missed opportunities subsided, and Dynamo players doubled their lead soon. Ngamaleu cut the Orenburg defensive line to Bitello. The Brazilian crossed along the goal. The ball ricocheted off the defender and landed exactly on Chavez' head – 2:0.
Time for substitutions came: tired Ngamaleu and Gladyshev were replaced by Jorge Carrascal and Denis Makarov. Soon Renato Gojkovic fouled on the Colombian running to the goal in the center of the pitch, but the referee allowed the attack to continue. In his turn, Bitello rolled the ball perfectly to Tyukavin, who missed the target from a brilliant position. Gojkovic got off with only a yellow card.
In the remaining 15 minutes, Dynamo controlled the game calmly, not leaving the Orenburg side any chance to come to Leshchuk's goal on a dangerous shooting distance. Already in added time, Chupayov made his debut in the RPL, substituting Tyukavin.
Dynamo collected 25 points and finished the first round third in the table. Our team will open the second round with an away derby against CSKA on November 25.
