The encounter of the Mir Russian Premier League 21st round, which was held in Orenburg, ended in a 2:1 win for the White-Blues.

Despite a big win at Nizhny Novgorod, the starting line-up of the White-Blues saw several changes. Eli Dasa and Sergey Parshivlyuk appeared on the wings of defense, while Nicholas Marichal shifted to the centre-back position, taking the place of Roberto Fernandez. Diego Laxalt returned as a defensive midfielder. In his turn, Jorge Carrascal moved to the right wing of attack.

The hosts were active within the first ten minutes, and Dmitry Vorobyov missed the target by his header. The main threat in the first half came from crosses from wings and set pieces.

So, from a free kick, Laxalt shot on target on rebound, and this was Dynamo first strike in the match – Nikolay Sysuyev denied it from under the crossbar. Next, Konstantin Tyukavin earned a dangerous free kick 17 meters from the goal, from which Daniil Fomin curled the ball over the wall. Laxalt started Dynamo attacks well. In one of them, Luis Chavez found Tyukavin inside the penalty box, and Kostya shot into the near corner – Sysuyev was on the right place.

It is worth of remark that the Orenburg side looked a little more dangerous. Two corners could have led to a change on the scoreboard, but first, Maksim Sidorov's powerful shot was deflected by Parshivlyuk, and Danila Khotulev's header was denied by Shunin's foot. The nicest chance came to Vorobyov, who missed the target from Brian Mansilla's delivery.

The second half was also marked by an active play of the hosts. In a fast counterattack, Vorobyov and Gabriel Florentin brought the ball to Mansilla, who fired over the crossbar from 10 meters. And then came the Tyukavin time. The young striker opened up for a long ball and interplayed with Eli Dasa. Then, Konstantin made a smart pass to Fomin, opened up in the penalty area for a return assist and beat Sysuyev!

Immediately after that, Tyukavin, who had done his job, was substituted by Fedor Smolov, and Milan Majstorovic replaced Parshivlyuk on the left wing of defense. When two changes were made, Dynamo organized an exemplary counterattack: Carrascal ran half the pitch with the ball, played on Smolov, who crossed to Fabian Balbuena. However, the Paraguayan's smart assist did not find Fomin in a promising position.

Denis Makarov and Nicolas Ngamaleu appeared next on the pitch, refreshing both wings, while Carrascal shifted to the midfield. It was from there that a few minutes later the Colombian assisted to the right wing, Smolov saw Ngamaleu's run and timely shared the ball with the Cameroonian international, who perfectly executed a one-on-one situation – 2:0!

However, the hosts won back one goal quickly. Sidorov made a cross into the penalty area, from where Mansilla turned the ball into the corner in one touch. Soon, the captain of the Orenburg team could have equalized altogether, but he headed off the target. Dynamo used fast counterattacks, which Smolov invariably finished: unfortunately, all three of his shots by his right foot, head and finally his left one did not find the net.

As a result, the White-Blues won against Orenburg for the third time in the season. Dynamo collected 44 points and continued to stay third in the table. In the next RPL match, Marcel Licka's men will face Zenit on Sunday, April 28. Buy tickets to VTB Arena on our website.
