— Do you often change your cleats?
— About once every six months. Field players change them more often. They have a whole bunch of quirks, while I'm pretty relaxed about it. I have two pairs of cleats just in case something happens to one, but the guys have 6-8 pairs. And then discussions start in the locker room – these ones pinch me, there's something else with those ones. Even though it might be the same model, one is made in Thailand, another in China, a third in Italy. All their cleats are different. As for me, whatever I put on, it all feels the same to me.
— You recently launched merch with your famous phrase said during a flash interview. Is it successful?
— Yes. I only have two XL shirts left, that's it. All the other sizes sold out. We just talked with a friend and decided that we'll make some in other colors too.
— Any new phrases coming?
— For now, probably everything will revolve around that phrase.
— Well, maybe something related to shoe covers?
— Shoe covers won't sell. Then you might as well just make black shoe covers and sell those. I don't aim to develop this as a clothing brand. I just felt like doing it. It's fun to try myself in a new role and learn something new.
— After finishing your career, could you become a businessman? Or is it creativity after all?
— I would like to have some kind of business. If everything works out with the hotel I talked about, then probably I'll be a businessman. I don't really think about it much. Whatever happens, happens. Right now, I'm doing what I like to do, for the soul.
