The scorer of Dynamo winning goal against Ural (1:0) told about his interaction with Arsen Zakharyan and recalled how he had played against Vladimir Rykov.
— You are named the Man of the match, Dynamo are on top spot. What are your feelings?
— It's always great when our team is on top spot. But we do not want to focus on it. We have one more game before the break. We will definitely prepare now.
— Today you used your unusual shot several times. In ice hockey, for example, players put a stick towards the puck to change its direction, and you put your foot for a cross. Did your dad teach you a similar trick?
— It's not because of my dad, maybe I took something from bandy. A lot of strikers score from inside the penalty box or goal-area line. They just put their foot in the right direction and score. It is ok.
— Today's goal is the merit of Zakharyan – Tyukavin tandem. Do you feel each other so good because you are friends outside of the football pitch?
— This plays its role too. Before we scored, we organized pressure on the opponent’s half of the pitch. We tackled the ball. Arsen made a great pass. I had only to score.
— Today there were a lot of goalscoring chances – you hit the crossbar or post. But only 1:0 on the screen, why?
— Well, we didn't manage to score a lot. One goal was enough to win, it makes me happy. In the next match we will score more.
— How did you play against such a powerful and experienced centre-back as Vladimir Rykov?
— He plays very tight, we knew it. I got a video analysis of his play before the match and learnt how he played against the forwards. I looked through it and tried to fall off a little from him, not to stick to him.
— There were only 25 of our fans in the stands, but they chanted the loudest. Have you heard their support?
— Of course. It was nice that our fans came and bought all the guest tickets. We always feel their support.
