Dynamo goalkeeper Igor Leshchuk was named the best player of the Betcity Russian Cup quarterfinal that was ended by 5:4 on penalties in Dynamo favor.
The regular time ended with a 1:1 draw. Igor Leschuk denied the first effort in a penalty shootout.
— When we took the lead, we didn't run at breakneck pace, but played a little bit from defense. We knew that Baltika race well in counterattacks. I think we let our guard down a little bit by the end and started making simple mistakes. This led to a comeback goal. We had to keep our concentration until the final whistle. We didn't work on penalties in advance, because we were going to win in regular time. It's good that the team managed to win in a penalty shootout, – Leshchuk said in an interview to the Match TV channel.
